I looked at and test drove an ’07 Amanti. I agree with these guys completely. I think the styling looks good, except it looks rather tall and stumpy. If it was stretched and had the Kia emblem on the grille, it’d be gorgeous. Interior is original, stylish, and luxurious. Very roomy and comfy. More power than I’d ever need. Feels like a V8. Such a smooth, quiet car. Between Amanti and Azera though, I’d totally take the Azera. Sexier.

Also hyundai started mazda and built a lot of ford cars in the 60′s and 70′s and in the 80′s kia was doing the same because hyundai left and did there own thing , hyundai also worked with Mitsubishi motors on power trains ,1998 kia got aquired by hyundai and left ford in 2003 both companies invested billions in there vehicles quality and reliability, 2004 they became partners with daimlerchrysler and until 05 shared tech with each other and Daimler is Mercedes and BMW so hyundai has there tech

what the fuck are you talking about we are in the 21st century not the 90′s kia is actually the quality leader and has beaten mercedes and porshe in the consumer reports survey on reliabilty since 2006 and they have also beaten the U. S. domestics. The materials are not cheap if you listen to them . And back to reliabilty come on Hyundai Kia motor group use to be both under Ford ,

why do you ask that question come on this car is really nice and hes not lieing excpecially now in the recession i think this car will sell and the all new 2010 looks a lot better and get better mpg and ten more horsepower plus finally a navi which was only being sold in other markets not US market

This car is such a good car. I don’t see anything wrong with the styling in my opinion, but I do wish it was RWD.

Nope. Crappy joke you got there. You have to admit though, that car is a real luxury car. Maybe I was exaggerating a bit. Maybe not $35,000 for that, but. . . $30,000. I see a lot of those where I live.

Not ridiculously underpriced but somewhat underpriced for what it is. DVD-based Navigation System, heated front seats, air conditioning w/ dual zone climate controls, a center console, power mirrors, power door locks, remote keyless entry, and 10-way power seats has to be worth more than $25,000. This car is worth more like. . . $35,000. It seems a little bit nicer than the Mercedes C-class in exterior styling, and the interior looks a little moer rushed in the C-class, which is $31,000. Good car!

I bought a used 2007 Kia Amanti about 6 months ago and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Besides it lacking navagation It has every feature you could think of. Its comfortable room and awsome pick up and go! Yeah they may have copied mercedes in the front but, I don’t know how many people I have come up and ask me if thats a mercedes and are very suprised that its a Kia. I have never had one complaint about the styling of the car.

If you want a Mercedes, work harder. If you can’t afford one, don’t buy a Kia! You’ll spend all the money you could have spent buying a Mercedes on repairs and service. Other than being ugly and slow and unreliable, this car wasn’t built to last, it was made to suck money out of your wallets. Do yourself a favor and buy a used Porsche BMW Mercedes, etc. for LESS than this poor quality car and then actually have the prestige you are trying to pay for.
