Furai is the latest in the Nagare design series from Mazda introduced at the 2008 Detroit AutoShow (NAIAS). Based on a US Le Mans race series Courage C65 chassis and featuring a 3 rotor rotary engine fueled by ethanol. Hear the full sound these rotors make in this intimate video.

That rotary spinning at certain rpm’s and especially during the shifts sounds super displeasing to the ears. I will say it sounds awesome when you actually get it into the higher rpm’s.

the fact the you even brought cylinders into a discussion about this car show how retarded you are. the more hp you squeeze crap is all wrong. if that were the case 700hp 4 bangers would make negative tq. tq is biased on your tune car and engine

Because the more HP’s you squeeze from small cilinders, the less torque you have, so if you drive low rpm, the engine has trouble to keep things running. That’s also why you have to take off with relative high rpm, just like F1 cars.
