There are NO performance parts on the market for the 2009 Nissan Maxima. So, since they both share the exact same engine. Can i use the more common 350Z upgrade parts on the Maxima?

The main problem is the motor is turned 90 degrees to the right. It is the economy I think performance parts will be available soon. Call Stillen and Jim Wolfe Technologys.

If the car really is the same engine, I imagine that the Maxima is a detuned version. I'm not positive, but I would be willing to bet that Z is hotter cams, higher compression, and better-flowing air induction system. Maybe you can upgrade some parts, but seriously wonder whether it worth it?
Why buy a brand-new front-wheel drive Maxima and try to mod it? This car is simply not designed for performance than the Z, and chances are you are voids the warranty, and performance mods. If I were you, I had to sell the car and buy a used Infiniti G35, if you want better performance and a further 4 people.
