Toyota was among the first entrants into commercial production of hybrid models, and their Hybrid Synergy Drive is still the industry standard for improving fuel economy and performance of hybrid cars. They aim to stay on top of the heap / and / be extended to other classes of their Highlander model of Hybrid, but they succeed?

T oyota wisely decided to keep the engine light, pairing their hybrid drive with a 3 3L V6. The result is a car that is fully functional family-sized SUV, much better gas mileage than almost any competitor in its class. It feels much larger than the old model, where both storage and seating space has improved, but the driver reviews and road tests are always state can be dealt with and smooth and easy ride that is slightly better than average for this size SUV. The engine set off the combined 270hp, which is far from the sporty and the whole car, but gives it the acceleration is a little less than similar sized non-hybrid models.

Most impressively, however, is the performance and savings in miles per gallon. At 27 miles per gallon city and 25 highway miles per gallon, it sits comfortably more parts of the curve for SUV fuel ecoIMG_2566.JPGnomy. Increased urban motorway miles than it is not uncommon for the class of hybrid cars. The engine will take greater advantage of the Hybrid Drive at lower speeds, and has more power back to the power brakes.

Family, who wants to be environmentally responsible, but still packed everything and everyone they need to be roomy SUV, Toyota Highlander is a difficult choice to beat.
