Most Toyota’s are built in the US. . . . Maybe I’m wrong but I believe US jobs stimulate the economy. Toyota has never laid off employees when they slow production at their plants, unlike a lot of american companies (most of which have their plants in Canada and Mexico. . . )

This car is never plugged in. When you left off the gas, the perpetual motion from the rotating tires generates electricity, much like a hydroelectric plant, and in turn, recharges the battery

lol, no they don’t. Only mod any taxi has seen is yellow cab had the crown vic made a few inches longer for their cabs.
Even cop cars are pretty much stock today, never mind taxis.
Shows what you know, Prius’ have a fuel monitoring system in them.

and in general taxis have stiffer frames and better suspension and other parts so they are more robust. as well a more maintenance friendly setup so that they can switch out parts easily and if they are smart they would also have a fuel monitoring computer to increase their MPG.
secondly, only good under some conditions. most people dont spend anywhere near 26k/yr on gas yet alone have the ability to save that much money. So pretty much irrelevant fact right there. .

first of all, commenting on the name just show how little of an argument you have, and i find it funny.
it is a knwn fact that to make Prius more affordable (the hybrid technology cost lots ) they took a lot of corners anywhere else. So crap in that sense.
so make sure that ones you get off that horse it would be near an elementary school where they would teach you to read properly.

Taxis are modified? Really? do tell, my friend who has 2 Prius taxis would LOVE to know whats modded on them. Because aside from the computer for the distance/cost it’s stock and each saves him $26,000/yr in fuel alone, never mind the lack of maintenace thats been done to them.
I also LOVE how you say Toyota is one of the most reliable cars, then you say it’s crap.

i dont knw why you are comparing Saturn to any Toyota product. Toyotas make some of the most reliable cars out there, i dont think Saturn is even on the same list.
also, you do knw all Taxis are modified right? so thats not saying much.
