Stop arguing you guys , learn to love all cars and stop comparing about stuff :)

  2. kleider1 Says:

    insight is awesome
hybrid batteries are not able to hold a charge but only after like how many years
by then you will probably get another car
and i think ethanol is made from corn and i dont think there is enough of that to power al the cars in the U. S. A. alone
hybrids r the best car companis can come up with at da moment
that and fuel cell cars that run off of hydrogen and only release water vapor as a by-product

  3. moderndesignworks Says:

I test drove the sucker this weekend, the leg room in the back of the Prius is so big, if I close my eyes, I would think I was in a Hummer.

  4. KonigNick Says:

wow why doesn’t america just buy diesels? in europe you never see a prius or an insight, because we all drive diesels which get even better mpg than those cars, I mean come on what better some wannabe save the world toyota or a stick shift BMW 320d that is awesome to drive and gets 50 mpg

  5. ripper3200 Says:

If you think batteries are so bad for the environment, then why do you use them. The batteries last about 350,000 miles in the Prius.

By the way, the damage you are talking about started 126 years ago. It’s kinda hard to blame a car that has only been around for 12 years and only uses 1. 5% of the annual output. If they were to produce the nickel just for Toyota, the mine would only be needed for 3 maybe 4 months, (not 126 years) which wouldn’t do anything to the environment.
    You are a moron.

  6. ripper3200 Says:

Yeah, you’re right, it sucks paying $20 to drive 500 miles. That’s not efficient at all.

  7. drumzstix666 Says:

The new Prius is our new Hummer.

  8. muscat0 Says:

in the long term, the second and first generation Prius was more damage to the environment, then the Land Rover Discovery

  9. Catlow20 Says:

Either Fully electric. or not wasting your money on a smaller car that isn’t as efficient as you think.
    FYI. STAY AWAY FROM HYBRIDS!

  10. Catlow20 Says:

You know all this crap on environmentally friendly hybrids doesn’t exist. Now not only are you still using gas power but your also using Battery power. And it doesn’t matter how many time you recycle the battery it will no long be able to hold a charge like it did when you first bought it. Right?
So now your destroying the environment in two way just as equally as fast if you didn’t own a damn hybrid. But Toyota and Honda won’t point that out for you. Thanks guys for making us suffer more.

I think it’s great reading all the people’s comments on here.
If youtube was around when the horse vs car movement was happening I bet the comments would of been just the same as these.

  12. 99gsx4g63 Says:

    you are?
What a thing to admit on youtube.

  13. 99gsx4g63 Says:

    Deal, name the place

  14. 99gsx4g63 Says:

you left out the 295 after ‘ft of torque’.

  15. 99gsx4g63 Says:

Wrong, I drive Hwy 160 km per day, and you get 4 4l/100km out of the 06 Prius. SO, please tell me how thats wasting gas, and only a good city? BTW, it goes up to 70 km / h before the gas is on. Hybrids suck so much that all the car companies are to make their own encryption. . . . ya, they really suck, as much as you do your BF's navel.

  16. 99gsx4g63 Says:

Actually, the motor is used to slow the car while the brakes are used to stop the car.
Unless you have to slam on the brakes, then the regular brakes are used ofcourse.
Under normal braking though, the electric motor turns the opposite direction and is used to slow the car down untill about 7mph when the brakes then are used. This is why the brakes last so long.

  17. 99gsx4g63 Says:

That has proven to be a lie and faulse. Looking upwards.

  18. AlternativeUses Says:

priuses are not as ecofriendly as toyota commercials claim. the manufacturing of the batteries (harvesting, shipping, assembly, etc) causes the production of a single prius to give off more pollution than even that of a hummer. look it up

  19. 1997Afiq Says:

    i choose prius

  20. ripper3200 Says:

The Insight is a nice car but I would definitely chose the Prius.

  21. blondemax Says:

mieeeeeeeow. Do you want information or Prius? I like insigt-I liked the old format. It seems that my '96 Tib

  22. ripper3200 Says:

We weren’t talking about your sex life.

  23. blondemax Says:

    3 mins

  24. Salacon Says:

They start at $18,000 here. No, not the cheapest vehicles, but if you happen to be able to pay for one, it’s most definitely worth it. Especially if you have to drive around a lot.

  25. usayash Says:

How much is the new countries? In the middle of the ocean to nearly 2 million rupiah than $ 65,000 in my country. . PFF. .
