This car will be the winner if Volvo will offer its turbo-6 or V-8 with AWD for this thing. 2010 will still be great, but a tough sell upgraded with new wagons such as the CTS, 9-5, and even the Legacy (in higher end models). As I said, Volvo could change that by offering more power and AWD.

I have spent weeks living in my whole »V70, plenty of space to house small mattresses to sleep in. If you get lost, this Volvo is a perfect home!

You cannot talk about volvos so. . . . who arent tank-like anymore. Thats history. It is one of the safest brands out there, but it is safer now. Statisticly Renaults are the safest cars in the world. Earning more points in crash tests of EuroNCAP, and have the 8.9 model with a maximum 5 star safety rating. Also, Renault was the first car to earn 5-star safety assessment. . . . Not a Volvo.

Highway is where the car spends its days continuously, all the security issues. I live outside the U.S., who knows maybe Volvo sucks imports to the U.S. but here in Europe, Volvos are one of the safest cars around. I am Dissing Audi, or I do not know the current V70, but last used the Audi 2. 5TDI engine has outstanding MPG and significant power (somewhere around 137bhp).

Actually my friend has a T5 XC90 from 04 and their mission has just completely gone at 42,000 miles, and one of the rear seats are locked in an upright position and will require a costly repair. Also, to prove this is not a unique case, another friend has another 04 T5 XC90 and driving 35,000 miles around the alternator and other parts went completely, and was hurled from the highway. They lost the power steering and everything in dense traffic. Nor had int. trim repairs trader

In fact, an Audi A6 Avant Quattro has been rated by the Insurance Instittute for Road Safety as the safest car in its class. With the incredible security clearance and AWD, which manages 26 MPG highway, compared to 22 MPG. That certainly does not come with a lower degree of efficiency. So, in my opinion a fair examination of the facts, I think it underengineered in comparisson to direct competitor.

Underengineering say? Well, the car must be sufficiently severe to SSP, Volvos are really incredibly thick body parts (and at least the older they certainly had) and those who have the "bars" on doors to further increase the protection is awful safe, almost like a tank, certainly not value your life in gallons of gas. For some people, security is the crucial part when it comes to buying a vehicle and the Volvo V70 and others are received. Cheers

Volvo's are built like tanks, asswipe. It will last forever. The 3. 2L V6 is probably the best designed machine in the world. Very reliable. Volvo's are safe. And I love the type vehicle to break. You complete mental retard for saying Volvo is crap.

Yes, it's terrible, but not as bad as the terrible XC70 sibling. Why should you have one of these over an SUV. I think the new T5 XC70 gets 22 HIGHWAY! This is awesome underengineering to show how the rest of the car probably will not work.

We got one of these in my home and the quality of cars is amazingly beautiful
