Quite an interesting insight into the workings of the Palm GPS. I have always been a fan of innovative automobile GPS systems . I use a Palm treo 750 with the Palm GPS navigator featuring Garmin mobile XT software. Overall I like the setup though its not a lifesaver, it certainly makes the task easier and serves the purpose adequately. I am continuing to test it out so this is not meant to be a final opinion, just sharing my personal experience so far. I repeat, your post has given me some great practical advice. Cheers.
