Many electric and hybrid cars came into development by the early years of the 20th century. It was very common to see several numbers of hybrid and electric cars on the road. Strangely the number of hybrid cars to be seen commonly disintegrated by 1920s, seemed like they were never there.
The biggest factor behind this disappearance of hybrids was the Fords renowned T-Model that could be powered with gas, as well as its production could be used in the assembly line that produced quite effective in making these cars faster and easier to produce.
