Which of these cars do you believe to be the best suited to driving across the desert. People always argue about which cars are the best for what environment, but when you think about it, one of these three is the best. Here are three of the categories i believe to be best suited to desert conditions, you can can decide which car exactly.

This is the Dune Buggy. This does sound like the obvious answer, and the clearest, but there are many types, and two other competing categories. The majority being custom built, with 1-2 litre engines, anything bigger and things don’t work properly. The Dune buggy is great for crossing harsh terrain like this at high speeds. This is a speedy little thing, with a high endurance capability and travels quickly over the sand.

Here comes the SUV. The problem with these 4×4 vehicles, is that they are no longer being built for people to travel off road, more for people with families. It has become a bit of a shambles, but they can still be quite nimble and of course being a 4×4 means that it has good grip and the ability to traverse some tough terrain. This car has one advantage that the Buggy is lacking, the fact it can carry a lot, and shields you from the sand. The Suspension fitted to the Dune Buggy allows for its light body to travel at great speeds over the sand, the SUV is much heavier.

By far this is the god of ATV. The Monster Truck, without a doubt the best all terrain vehicle. Now these generally are kit cars, built at home or in a specialised garage. These cars have a supremely unmatchable amount of power, and the suspension is great, being able to travel over harsh land. Watch that fuel gauge go down, from the moment you start the engine to the moment you travel 30 feet. All in all it won’t travel that far, so you need to supply yourself with extra fuel.

So which of these is the top one to travel around on Egypt holidays, you may want use one for Maldives holidays, but only if it can float.
