Danger Deep Mud

Getting around in our cars is an important part of life, so we expect our 4 wheeled friends to always get us to where we want to go.
Of course this great on flat ground but when there is deep mud, deep snow and possible swamp ground, the use of rubber tracks become very important.

Rubbers tracks do what the tradition steel and iron ones did on tanks throughout the wars, except that are cheaper easier to fit and more versatile. You can’t use rubber tracks on all vehicles as there is a limit to their strength but there still are a surprisingly huge range of vehicles they can be fitted to. Using the ski slopes of the world as an example from France to Canada.

Trusting 4 wheels to access the ski slopes would just not work, so this is trusted upon vehicles than run on rubber tracks to plough the snow and transport important supplies up and down the slopes, no matter what the weather.

Avoiding heavy track is the solution to successful snow transportation and rubber tracksfalls in to this category easier than other tracks made from other materials. It is true that many building sites rely on vehicles fitted with rubber tracks, to get the building work done efficiently.

Creating an alternative to vehicles fitted with rubber tracks has just not happened yet. Having a system that spreads the weight across all the vehicles gives the flexibility of being able to drive pretty much anywhere, through mud or snow.

Working in the fields as a farmer could mean 4×4 vehicles to get across flattish ground. But harvesting is a different story, as damaging crops can be costly.

Many combine harvesters are now fitted with rubber tracks, first to get through what could be muddy ground, but second these rubber tracks do not hurt the field as much as tires that dig into the ground or metal based tracks.

Many people not in the trade, do not appreciate the reliance of rubber tracks fitted to certain vehicles to help with winter sports, build their houses and provide their corn flakes. Understand a little about rubber track news
