The car stinks.  Clutter is everywhere.  I am frustrated!  The local auto wash is too expensive.The problem: How can I quickly but thoroughly do this job?

10 Tips to de-cluttering and cleaning your car.

1. Look at the vechicle closely…all over the interior.  What NEEDS to be at your fingertips in your vehicle?
2. Look around you…the first job is to remove all trash, gum wrappers, soda cans, paper receipts, etc. Remove and recycle them.Empty out all storage bins, cup holders, or other cubbies.
3. Remove floor mats and hose them down with water and Nok-Out. Remove all debris with a stiff brush.Move your vehicle to a sunny location for quick drying.
4. Use any tested and safe upholstery cleaner to gently scrub away debris and stuck-on food particles.After the cleaning is done, use a non-toxic and safe spray to remove any remaining odorsi.e. Nok-Out.
5. To clean and sanitize interior air of the car, spray into the car’s circulation filter (a grate, usually found on the outside of the car, below the windshield.Simply turn the circulation system on ‘circulate’ not the ‘automatic.
6. Either a hand-held, tank or upright vaccum cleaner should be used to do some deep cleaning of all carpets and upholstery to remove both surface and embedded pet hair, food particles, soil, and other debris.
7. Don’t forget the trunk area and any storage cubbies.  Vaccum thoroughly, and then wipe with a deodorizing agent to remove topical odors.  A safe neutralizing odor remover is best for this job for both you and your family.
8. Clean the dashboard, sideliners, arm rests, headliners carefully and thoroughly with a safe and powerful deodorizer/cleaner.

9. The interior should be sprayed with a non-toxic, dependable air cleaner.While the ventilation system is circulating inside air, be sure to raise all windows.

10. Smile while you replace all of the items necessary for daily use. Let the windows down so that fresh air circulates into your car…you’ve done it!  And saved a buch of money!
