You may browse the websites or check your email accounts that are integrated into the Blackberry Operating System.
However there are times when you need to answer calls but you don’t want this call to disturb you from surfing the world wide web.
If you are often caught in such situation, then a hands-free Bluetooth gadget will answer your problem.
Blackberry phones are designed to be automatically compatible with Bluetooth gadgets. It is also equipped with a specific application that handles Bluetooth wireless headset.
To do this, you simply need to press the menu button of your Blackberry.
The location of the button is next to the call button.
Now you can see all apps are displayed on the screen.
Go to the Bluetooth settings icon, the one with a gear and Bluetooth symbol. Double click the icon.
Now, a window should pop up and you are asked whether to enable your phone to search for other Bluetooth devices or to allow other Bluetooth devices to find your Blackberry.
You should select the second choice. By doing this you’re setting your Blackberry into discovery mode.
The next step is to activate your headset. The activation process may vary from one headset to another.
However most headset is provided with a “call” button, this button enables you to set the headset into active mode.
Now this is the last and the most crucial step : Test your headset connection. Ask your friend to call you and try using your earpiece and talk to your friend.
Both the your voice on the other end and your friend’s voice that you hear should be clear enough. If you find any interferences, you should try to re-setup the Bluetooth connection.
