My wife and I just purchased a mitsubishi endeavor and were wondering if we could install one, what type we could install, and where it would go in realation to the dash? Thanks.
I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer. I just had a regular oil change done and the guy that did it said that I need to get an engine flush done? My car does run a little slower off the brake than when I first bought it….could something else be done to improve the speed when I hit the gas?

There is a lot of strain on the people’s pocketbook these days. The high cost of fuel, food and many other daily staples has gone up a great deal in the last few years, while most people’s income has not. Anything that can lessen the impact of these higher prices can have a significant affect on the daily quality of people’s lives. We can’t eat less; we still need somewhere to live, where can people save money with the least impact on their lives and pleasures?
Fuel efficient cars are the answer, they have historically been looked down upon as a choice of students and cheapskates, but as the worlds oil reserves deplete and costs of fuel reach all time highs, they are now looked upon as not only the intelligent choice, but the ethical and right choice for today’s environment. Fuel efficient cars are the wave of the future and best option for those people who want to save money and leave a better planet for our children. Driving a Chevy Suburban or Cadillac Escalade may still be a status symbol, but more and more people are proud of how fuel efficient their vehicle is as opposed to how BIG it is.
Some of the most fuel efficient cars on the roads today include: the Kia Rio (27 mpg city / 32 mpg highway), Mitsubishi Lancer (22 mpg city / 30 mpg highway), Mazda 3 (24 mpg city / 32 mpg highway), and Chevy Cobalt, (24 mpg city / 33 mpg highway) These cars not only cater to those interested in fuel efficiency and the environment, but are also hot little cars that turn heads. Popular with commuters, families and younger drivers because they can save you hundreds of dollars every month in fuel costs compared with those large SUV’s or older gas guzzlers. Money that is better spent on something other polluting the environment by burning more fuel.
Less is more, definitely describes these great little vehicles, less money spent on fuel and more money for your pocket. Besides being less expensive to purchase and fill up with gas, you can feel good about creating less pollution and leaving a smaller carbon footprint. These cars incorporate far less steel, plastic and other materials by weight than the large gas guzzlers. Which means the environmental cost of production is lower, the cost of shipping the cars and materials to and from the plant and dealers is cheaper, and there is less materials to recycle when it reaches the end of its useful life span.
Based on the average number of miles most people drive in a year being 12,000 and a fuel price of $3.60 US per Gallon (Which will be much higher soon). Someone driving one of the fuel efficient models mentioned above would spend $1570 per year and use about 436 gallons of fuel, compared to a mid sized car which would cost $2107 for the 585 gallons of gas it would consume. This is way less than filling a SUV with a whopping 775 gallons of fuel for the same number of miles, and a gas bill of nearly $2800. Driving a fuel efficient car can save you more than $1200 per year in fuel costs alone, never mind the increased insurance and other higher costs for the larger gas guzzlers. $1200 dollars every year, for many people that is nearly 2 months rent. The choice gets easier the more we know.
