The Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and PSA Peugeot Citroën have signed an agreement to which the PSA will provide the patented 2. 2-liter common-rail, direct injection diesel engine with particulate filter to Mitsubishi. Under the agreement, PSA will begin providing automobile engines to be launched by mid 2007.
The Mitsubishi is set to present a new sport utility vehicle Outlander in Europe this month. By the end of this year, the industry is looking to add a new diesel version of the SUV will be powered by diesel of PSA. The latter will also use the machine for the 4007 and C-Crosser cars.
