<g:plusone size="tall" href="http://www.automotive-freaks.com/automotive/diy-automotive-training/"></g:plusone>

In past years, automotive trainings were considered as most common subject in our society. Elective on ship class were offer in high schools to make sure that boys know all about car’s engine bay. This would give students and car owners a chance to learn that in case they face difficulties with their cars, they should know how to solve them.

Now, the conditions have changed. Now cars have difficult structures and their owners surely don’t have any training. This has forced dealerships and garages to repair the cars more than ever and mechanic rates too obviously have increased with more need of their services.

Some automotive training is useful for people to at least deal with the routine problems and maintenance issues of their cars. This reduces the expenses of maintenance.

An example to this can be oil change procedure. This is the task that costs car owners to spend more than required. What one needs to know about this procedure is that where oil filter and drain plug is located. A basic car class can be useful to know about basic of your cars like position of major components, regular maintenance, and basic guidelines.

Another routine work is basic tuning up. This task can also be done by yourself if you have little automotive training. This task includes changing the air filters, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and positive crankcase valve (PCV).

Team AVI-Automotive Video Automotive Technology Training: Computer Engine Data Testing II Using Snap-On MT2500 Scanner – Ford, GM, Generic/Chrysler (Specific Training Programs for Professional Automotive Service Technicians and Independent Shop Owners) [3 VHS Videos]

Replacing the fuel filter and oxygen sensor can also be part of basic tune up depending on what car you have. You can also include rubber parts to be checked and replace in this tuning up work. To carry out these works, you just need to have some knowledge about automotive functions.

One who has basic automotive training can also change his own brakes. This task is simple yet dirty. There are many other routine tasks that do-it-yourselfer can carry out if he has basic training. Replacing a battery, alternator, starter, timing belt are some of these routine tasks.

Basic Car Maintenance

Having automotive training can save you from falling in the trap of dealerships and garages that could tell you to get maintenance when your cars do not need it. Another advantage of having some automotive training is that you will be able to easily communicate with your mechanic about your car, its problems, and recommendations.

Some automotive training can also save your money. You can avail the automotive trainings at local auto tech school or community college. These classes will help you in dealing with some repairs on your own. In addition to this, you would be able to your own car with your mechanic. The class will give guarantee that you won’t become victim of unawareness and negligence.

It will allow a person to stay alert if some unscrupulous mechanic tries to gouge on your repairs.

It stops a person from unnecessary repairs and saves your money. Also, it helps to locate a problem and fix it early.

We need to get started now, so that we have time to cover everything.

It is a strange activity to smell your vehicle for maintenance activity but, it is a useful activity. There is no need to buy any fragrance for your vehicle or something like that. A person has to smell the gasoline and the engine.

Let’s get started with the smell of smoke. If there is some smoke coming out from your vehicle at any time it means your vehicle needs a service.

Smelling the smoke is not a matter for anyone but dealing with that smoke ASAP is an important thing. Smoke coming out from anywhere in your vehicle is never okay. No matter – check it or get it check and make sure.

The most common smell from the busy engine is of a gas. The gas first sits in the engine and then the smell becomes more noticeable and then it dissolves.

Cataclean Engine and Catalytic Converter Treatment- 16.7 oz.

This smell comes only when someone starts engine. If other than this, gas smell comes out from anywhere then it’s a sign of another problem. A person should contact a qualified mechanic for this problem because it may create very dangerous problem for anyone.

Now another type of smell is like moldy eggs, usually created by the burning sulfur, are may be a problem with your catalytic converter.

Catalytic converter is a very technical thing and it requires a qualified technician to service it. A misbalanced or maladjusted catalytic converter may cost your precious mileage more.

The smell of burning bread comes from the electric short circuit or burning of the insulation near the wires, fuses or connections. If there is some other secondary sings, then never start your engine until a qualified technician resolves the problem.

K-Seal ST5501 Multi Purpose One Step Permanent Coolant Leak Repair

A sweet smell, usually when mixed with the smell of hot rubber, means that there is a coolant leak or a problem with the cooling system. Stop your vehicle if someone is driving and check the radiator of your engine. Driving over heated engine may cause anyone an unexpected problem and stops them to use their vehicle for many days or weeks.

Smell of burning oil is a strong, bitter stink that can be very minor or quite distinct. In this case, an individual has to check that there is no leakage of oil and also that there is recommended or required amount of oil in the engine. Make sure that whenever someone changes their engine oil; do insist on an Engine Sentry.

Now, another step is completed in becoming a full-fledged automotive diagnostician. Your vehicle will definitely be in much better condition. If you haven’t already, check out Part I, and Part II.

It will allow a person to stay alert if some unscrupulous mechanic tries to gouge on your repairs.

It stops a person from unnecessary repairs and saves your money. Also, it helps to locate a problem and fix it early.

We need to get started now, so that we have time to cover everything.

Some peoples are very sensitive in the sense of the sound their vehicles make. Especially motorcyclists, who renew their automobiles. There are many experienced mechanics who can tell the out timings of your running car engine.

Listen To the Engine

This can be done in quiet environment. First open your hood of the vehicle and then start your engine. Wait for 30-60 seconds before start listening. Make sure that safety comes first, mind all your fingers and don’t wear loose clothes as there are many moving parts inside engine.

A brief word about engine sounds…

Of course all engines have sound. Some sounds are like jets and some have clicking noises, or clattering. The first time when someone takes a good listen to their engine, they will quickly learn that which sounds are okay and which are not.

Listening has to be done in three different positions. 1: directly in front of the cr. 2: on the left (driver’s side). 3: on the right (passenger’s side).

Bend over the compartment of your engine and listen carefully. Closing eyes will help in concentrating. Listen for the sounds which don’t sound right.

Clattering sound, metal rubbing metal, clanging and squeaks, if such sounds are coming from your engine then open your eyes and try to focus on it. Repeat the step for all three positions.

This method is of checking your engine. It can expose loose caps, loose fan belts, loose fans, missing bolts, nuts and many things other than these.

Do whatever someone can do otherwise take your vehicle to a service technician. Never put your fingers or hand into your engine while it is running. If someone notices that stays on the overflow tube are loose, turn your engine off and then tight it.

The last thing is the best of all. Hire an assistant with yourself. Climb into your vehicle together. A person will have to drive and assistant has to rides shotgun.

There are four things which assistant will require. Some WD-40, a notepad, a small can of 3-in-1 oil, and a good rag. Do not choose so smooth road for drive. Your assistant will listen every irritating peeps, screams and rattles.

Another job of assistant is to move towards to source of the sounds. Lubricants will fix every squeaking. Some things, like loose or missing screws, bolts should be recorded in a notepad for future maintenance. A person will shock by the quietness of your floor by performing this process twice.

Now, another step is completed in becoming a full-fledged automotive diagnostician. Your vehicle will definitely be in much better condition. Also check out part I and part III.

<g:plusone size="tall" href="http://www.automotive-freaks.com/general/car-care-and-diagnostics-see-no-evil-part-1/"></g:plusone>

Knowing about how to take care of your vehicle is a very good idea. It also allows individual to keep in view that if a dishonest mechanic is trying to scratch on your repairs.

It will stop all individuals from no required repairing and save money. It helps to find out the problem and fix it to save more money. It allows to perfectly adjusting in an era where everyone is dependent on others to live.

We need to get started now, so that we have time to cover everything.

First thing to do is to check the visual of your vehicle. Following steps will assist a person about what to do and from where.

•	Have a look at your tires. Are they low by look? Pressure gauge is available at a very low cost from any discount auto parts store. Maintain it as necessary. The better your tire pressure will be, the safer your vehicle will be and fuel efficient. There are many cheap air pumps available at discount stores. Motorcyclists and moped riders have to check tire pressure exceptionally.

•	Take a closer look at your tires and inquire for any edges, missing amount of rubber or some objects sticking on the tire. Take your vehicle into the shop for alignment if your tires are new and seems to be wearing unevenly.

•	Another important thing is to look under your vehicle for liquid leakage. If it is only a drop, then no need to worry about. Keep in mind that in the summer season, your vehicle will drop out more water because of air conditioning. Coolant system will also emit bit of water. If there is consistency in leakage then look for the source of leakage.

•	Check your engine oil according to the manufacturer’s instructions and feel it with your fingers. Engine oil is the life of your vehicle’s power plant. How is the oil feel? Is it watery or very thick? If it is thick. It’s good but if it’s watery, it’s bad for your vehicle. Change your watery oil and refill Engine oil which is thick.

•	Another thing to check is the coolant level. Always follow precautions by manufacturer’s to avoid any harmful thing. Never use coolant or anti-freeze which is not recommended by manufacturers.

•	Check the compartment of your engine. Caps should be tighten, confidently tug/test hose connections. Light engine cleaning is a very good thing for your vehicle. It’s very easy, just take some rags and degreaser (ammonia and water make a cheap but great degreaser). A toothbrush is required to perform this step.

•	Visually check your vehicles battery and connections. Check that all the connections are tight with the battery. If someone sees a green or white build-up on the battery, mix some baking soda with tepid water (1/4- cup of baking soda to one quart of water) now pour it directly on the affected areas. Don’t worry about the fizzing and crackling. Apply a thin coating of grease onto each terminal of the battery when it is clean and dry.

After these useful guides, an individual can be a fully fledged automotive diagnostician. Keep an eye out for part II, and part III.

Usually the most vulnerable areas are the bumpers. Dents in these areas may accumulate from time to time until one day you say to yourself, that’s it, I need to fix them.

The repair process mainly depends on the type of bumper of your car. If you have metallic bumpers, you may be one of the lucky car owners. Because it’s easier to repair than other types of bumper.

Vinyl bumpers are the hardest type to fix. But don’t give up, let’s go down to the steps that are required to remove those nasty dents.

Let’s check out the dent removal steps, starting from the easiest one, that is a Metallic bumper.

1. First, remove your bumper. If you own a car with metallic bumper you may perform the dent removal process by using a rubber mallet, a piece of cloth, and a small block of wood.

The bumper needs to be removed so that you have wider access and more space to reach the inside of the molded metal.

After removing the bumper, lay it down. The surface where you lay down the bumper must be soft enough to avoid any damages during the repair. It’s best to use a towel or a soft thick cloth as the surface.

Rubber Mallet For Metal Smithing – 8 Ounces

2. Use The Block of Wood.

Take the block of wood, round off its end. You should round it into a form that matches the original shape of the inside of the bumper. Now place the wood against the dent. Use the rubber mallet to tap it.

Observe the bumper, check if the bumper shape is already restored. When it is restored already, you may clean, apply polishing, and replace the dent.

Ding King Dent Repair Kit

If You Have Vinyl Bumpers:

1. Remove the bumper and apply heat to the inward area of the bumper. As I’ve already said, this type of bumper is quite challenging to fix. But fear not, let’s continue the process.

2. Use a hairdryer or a heat gun to heat the bumper. This needs to be done in order to mold the plastic later. Hold your heating device about a few inches away from the inward area of the bumper where the dent resides.

3. When the vinyl softens, from the inside of the bumper, push the dent out. Use cold water on a cloth to reshape the vinyl. It’s also used to cool the bumper so that the new shape is set permanently.

Wagner Power Products 503008 HT 1000 1,200-Watt Heat Gun

How to Replace The Dent:

1. The color of molded bumpers is usually matched to the color of car’s body. In order to do this you should cut the dent out of the fiberglass. Replace the dent area with a new patch.

2. You should quickly sand the area once you replace it with a new patch. Repaint it with the color that matches the color of the rest of the bumper.

There you go, dent removal can be tricky however, when the dent is small you can try to repair it on your own, but if it’s quite large, you’d better go to the car body repair shop.

But if you decide to do it yourself, make sure you provide yourself with sufficient knowledge.

Be glad, because now, I’ve compiled five items that may help you to remove car scratches.

These items are five of the best car scratch removers according to my reviews. However, you should make sure to apply the scratch removers once you have washed your cars in order to gain the best benefit from them.

Before you start to apply the liquid or gel base to your car, you should first perform a sandpapering session, because your car may have different coats.

Find a shaded area where you can safely apply the scratch removers. This should be done in order to avoid direct sunlight from affecting the end results.

In order to gain the best result from your DIY Car Body Repair, you should avoid exposing your vehicle to rainy conditions before you are confirmed that the application has dried completely.

Here is the list of the best five Car Paint Scratch Removers. This list is compiled according to my own opinion and is subject to change due to the development of car paint technology :

1. Nu Finish Scratch Doctor : This application is well known for its quick dry result. Many car owners love this item because of its fast result. If you have a newer car that needs some fix, go and find this stuff. You may shop for it on various internet sites.

The price when this article is written is around $10 – $11. But when I check on the Amazon, they sell it for $9.37 at this time of writing.

I’ve read a complaint that said this scratch remover didn’t perform optimally when dealing with quite serious scratches. So, I only recommend this for newer cars and easy scratches.

Check out this item on Amazon:
Photo by Robert Couse-Baker It isn’t a difficult thing to check the automatic transmission fluid. This regular check should be done every month.

When you drive your vehicle and the car starts to have shifts roughly, then you’ll also need to check the fluid.

The roughness may be caused by a low fluid problem. This can happen due to a leak or it’s contaminated with dirt.

In order to check properly you need to move your vehicle to a level parking surface.

By doing this you may get a more accurate reading in order to avoid it from overfilling. After you park the car, don’t stop the engine, keep it running.

It’s necessary to take the reading while the engine is still hot to guarantee an accurate reading.

Now, you may open your owner’s manual if you have no idea about the location of the dipstick.

Finding an automatic transmission oil dipstick isn’t as easy as the oil dipstick.

RTI ATX-2 Automatic Transmission Fluid Exchanger

The dipstick is usually marked with brightly colors like a red or yellow covering.

You’ll likely find instructions in the manual that also tell you to keep the engine running while performing the checks.

You should wear safety goggles before working under the hood. By wearing such goggles you’ll prevent your eyes from any debris that may harm them. They also protect you from flying debris hitting your face.

Prepare a flashlight to help your sight when looking into the engine for finding dipstick location. When the engine is warm, remove the dipstick and wipe it clean.

Put back the dipstick, remove again, and read the fluid level. By doing this you’ll get a better reading. There are two markings on the dipstick, they are “warm” and “cold”.

Red Line 30504 D4 Automatic Transmission Fluid – 1 Quart

Because we take the reading when the engine is still warm, then you should observe the markings for the “warm” readings.

If your reading says that the fluid is not full, then you should add a little bit at a time and check again by using the dipstick.

Repeat this step until the fluid reaches the optimum level. You don’t want to overfill the ATF so make sure you add a little bit at a time.

You need to observe the color of the fluid. ATF fluid should has a pinkish to red color. If you find the fluid is brown, then you need to call a mechanic to evaluate the engine.

In order to add the fluid properly, use a long necked funnel and add the fluid through the hole where the dipstick is put in.

Royal Purple 01320 Max Automatic Transmission Fluid

Once again I should remind you, fill a little bit at a time, you don’t want to overfill it.

Put back the dipstick, wait for a few moments, and then remove the dipstick again, wipe it down, put it back and pull again. Now you may read the new fluid measurements.

There are several types of cars especially the new ones that do not require you to replace the fluid.

But some cars require you to flush the fluid and replace it in every 24,000 miles.

You should confirm this by reading your owner’s manual to obtain the specifics information.

Hey guys, Are you wondering what are the best connection between your car stereo and iPod ? There are several options to consider, learn what's best for you here

<g:plusone size="tall" href="http://www.automotive-freaks.com/automotive/tips_tricks/maintenance/what-are-the-best-way-to-connect-ipod-to-your-car-stereo/"></g:plusone>

If you are the owner of a recent manufactured car, you usually won’t experience any trouble playing iPod through your car radio. Mid level factory fitted car stereos are usually equipped with iPod dock.

This enables you to control the iPod through audio functions on the car radio like enabling track selection and shifting to the next track.

Certain models are able to retrieve the details data of a song like track name and info. They the display the information on the radio display.

If your car is fully integrated with iPod you may not need to take your hands off the steering wheel for changing tracks.

Because there are buttons on the steering wheel that are provided for your convenience. You may use them to control the iPod.

But if you are the owner of and older car, you too have several options to enjoy iPod using your car’s audio system.

Play iPod Through a Cassette Deck

It’s a rare sight to find cars with tape players these days. But believe it or not it’s one of the easiest way to listen to music from your iPod. All you need is an iPod cassette adapter.
What it basically does is injecting the audio signal from iPod into a dummy cassette. So the tape player reads the signal as if an ordinary cassette tape were being played.

However the quality this iPod cassette produces is pretty average. But in our opinion it’s a fair deal due to its affordable price and practicality. Most of these tape adapters don’t require any batteries in order to operate.

Car Cassette Adapter For Apple iPod

Play iPod using FM Transmitter

You can listen to music from your car’s audio system that captures the signal generated by a small FM transmitter.

This FM transmitter is plugged into your iPod and behave like a small FM radio station inside your car. It constantly shoots ultra-short FM radio signal that can be captured by your car radio.

Most cars, old and new are equipped with car audio systems that have a FM radio. So this FM transmitter can work nearly universally on each car that is equipped with a car stereo.

The nice thing about this gadget is wireless. Especially if you don’t like to be annoyed by all the wires. It’s also a good solution if you drive a rental car that isn’t equipped with aux jack or iPod jack.

You need to set the FM transmitter to a blank spot on the dial. When driving on long journeys you should be aware that a blank position of the FM dial in one area, city, or place may be filled in another.

If this happens, you’ll experience an interference on playback like music from the local station overlaps with the music from the iPod. So this gadget perhaps is more suited for local journeys.

Connect Your iPod Using an Auxiliary Input Jack

Some car radios are equipped with an auxiliary input. This can be an input brought out to the wiring harness at the back of the stereo or a 3.5mm jack on the front panel.

In the first case, You need to find a way to bring the lead out without it getting in the way too much. This situation is similar to the aux input of a hi-fi system and you can use a similar way to patch in an iPod.

Now, if your stereo provides a 3.5mm input socket, all you need is a normal 3.5mm jack to jack lead. That’s all.

Play iPod Through a Bluetooth A2DP Connection

IPod is able to stream audio wirelessly to a car stereo using Bluetooth. You may use an adaptor that’s plugged into the iPod.

However, in order to work you need to make sure that your car is equipped with Bluetooth interface and supports A2DP ( Advanced Audio Distribution Profile ). Your car radio must also have the regular handsfree support for mobile phones.

It would be a good advantage if your car also supports AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile). This feature enables you to switch tracks using forward and back buttons of your car radio.

Earlier iPods can also use Bluetooth connectivity by adding devices like Griffin’s Bluetrip or other similar tools. However, A2DP support in your car radio is a must have for these devices to work.

Here’s a quick conclusion on Different Ways of Connecting your iPod to a Car Radio.

Car Radio with iPod connector

It has integrated track selection capability and offers the best convenience and result

Cassette Adapter

It’s one of the most affordable solution, needs no batteries, no installation required. The only drawback is it produces average sound quality.

FM Transmitter

It offers “Universal connectivity”, almost all car stereos on the planet have the ability to capture FM radio signals. However, you may need extra batteries and it’s vulnerable to interference.

Aux Input Jack

Perhaps it’s the cheapest solution if it’s already provided by the car radio. It generates excellent sound quality.

Bluetooth

It offers the best sound quality among other wireless connections. You are able to control track selection from the radio car buttons.

IPod is a better choice over tapes and CD. Because it has the ability to store a much larger amount of music, without any need to change the media.

But one thing to consider is the way you interact with the iPod itself while driving. Because anything that can distract your focus from the road should be highly avoided.

So in our opinion Bluetooth with AVCRP and iPod dock are better options to enjoy iPod while driving. Because you can control the music selection and options without having to sacrifice your attention from the road.

Everyday, millions of MP3 songs are being played through this tiny little gadget. iPod has various features that successfully captures the hearts of young generation.

It has been widely known for its extended battery life, huge storage capacity, video features, photo storage, and many more.

If you plan to play iPod through your car stereo system, you may use iPod cassette adapters. This adapter will enable you to connect your iPod to your car’s audio system.

Where to Shop?

I guess this is your first question. iPod has become such a famous device that captures the world’s attention. There are growing number of shops that are specializing in selling iPod accessories.

But you may also find an iPod cassette adapter in electronic shops, music shops, or car shops. It’s better to do a research before deciding to purchase one. One of the best place to research is of course on the internet.

But internet is like an ocean without a limit, so if you ask me where to start, I recommend you start searching from Amazon.

The good things about Amazon are you can read other customer reviews, you have millions of products to choose from, and it often offers very very competitive prices.

If you go to an offline shop, your options are limited and you can’t just browse the items the way you like, you will be facing a salesperson who tells you how nice the product you choose without having any clue about other customers’ reviews.

How To Choose The Right Adapter.

Price is one of the key factors to consider. But it’s not the only one. You should also observe the features that come with the adapter.

From our observation the adapters that cost around 25 dollars are the most appropriate ones.

There are other adapters that cost cheaper, but usually they are manufactured from very vulnerable materials that are easily breakable.

In our opinion such gadgets aren’t worth your money in the long term.

You should also check the sound quality of the adapter. If you’re buying from Amazon, you may want to read other customers’ reviews.

By reading these reviews you won’t repeat the same disappointment from the previous customer who bought wrong products.

Installing Adapter.

Installation is actually very easy. All you need to do is simply place the adapter into the the cassette slot of your vehicle.

Make sure you reconnect the whiles to the relevant cords in the adapter when you remove the cassette player.

Using the adapter.

Once you’ve completed the installation, you can start enjoying the music from your iPod.

But first, you need to connect the iPod to the cassette player by using the headphone jack that comes with the cassette adapter.

You may adjust the music volume by using either the volume in the iPod or the stereo system in the car itself.

Usually you need to set the volume of your iPod to 50 percent at least, so that the sound can be heard.

Click here to view the embedded video.

Watch the demonstration of using a Cassette Adapter to Play iPod / iPhone. Simple and cheap.

Music Tips.

To promote safety while driving, you are highly advised to construct the playlists in your computer for the songs you want to be played.

By doing this you don’t need to change tracks while driving. This behavior is very dangerous because the focus of your eyes can be distracted from the road and may lead to fatal accidents.

Consider setting your iPod on repeat mode if you are on a long journey. This to make sure the iPod will continue to play songs during the entire trip.

Music from your iPod can be the best company in a long journey or a road trip. Especially when you travel alone.

So, it’s never a bad idea to install a cassette adapter for your iPod.

iPod Kit for Car, that’s the gadget you’ll be needing to accomplish the task. All you need to do is attach the kit to your car stereo and as the result, you’ll be able to control the iPod from the radio’s controls.

But before installing this car iPod kit you should remove first the negative cable that’s connected from the battery post.

You may ask Mr. Google to find an iPod kit for your car. But if you ask me, I’ll recommend Amazon because it’s more straightforward and often offers the most competitive deals, that’s my humble opinion.

There are several types of iPod kits to choose from.

The first is those that connect your iPod to the amplifier through an auxiliary input. The most typical problem with these kits is you need a separate connector in order to charge the iPod.

The second type is iPod kit that harness the FM radio frequency to transmit data. The kit uses FM transmitter that you can plug to headphone input or USB port of your iPod.

It’s very easy to use and there’s nothing to install

The problem with the second type is in its reliability. Since it uses frequency to transmit data, there are external factors that may interfere the quality of sound that’s transmitted.

The sound that’s generated through the radio is usually not too clear.

How To Install :

1. You should remove the center dashboard panel.

Do a quick observation upon your center dashboard and find out whether you must remove only the area where the radio is located or a big portion of the front panel.

For some types of cars, you’ll need to remove the whole center panel in order to gain access to the wires that are located behind the radio.

In order to pry the panel off, you can use a hard piece of plastic. There are clips that hold the panel in place. These clips are usually located along the inside of the dashboard.

You should be careful not to make any scratch while removing the panel.

2. Pull out the car radio.

After removing the panel, you may now pull out the radio. You may attach the wire harness for your CD changer to a slot that’s usually available.

If the CD changer is attached to the slot already, pull it out and use the wire harness that’s provided by the iPod kit. The iPod kit’s module should be attached to the other end of the cable.

There is one more cable, this cable connects the module and your iPod. Attach the end of the cable that goes into the slot on the module.

Insert the cable into the dashboard. You should find a place for running the cable out from the dashboard.

Some prefer to run it through glove compartment. But this method has a weakness because you must keep opening the compartment in order to access the iPod.

At the passenger’s side, on the side of the center dashboard, you will find a panel. Loosen the panel by removing its screws.

Now you need to run the cable for iPod out through this area and replace the panel.

Pac AAI-FRD04 Auxiliary Input for Select 2004?2007 Ford Vehicles

3. Now, you may further install the panel and the radio back.

Place the cables and wires that run from and to the car stereo back into dashboard.

Keep the module inside the dashboard together with those wires and cables.

You should do it carefully and make sure there’s enough room for car radio.

Push the radio gently into the right position inside the dashboard.

Attach the previously removed center panel on the dashboard. Snap it firmly into place.

Make sure the panel is flush on the dashboard. Connect the cable for iPod to your iPod’s USB port.

If the iPod Kit comes with a dip switch, you should set the switches according to your car stereo’s configuration. Read the manual to find out the settings guide.

Congratulations, at this point you should have successfully installed the iPod kit. You may play all your favorite songs that are stored on the iPod.

If you need to access the next or previous songs and increase or decrease the volume, You can do it from your radio’s controls.
